Electronic processing of documents requires efficient scanning. Traditional flat scanners do not work at sufficient speed, therefore it is necessary to use equipment with special facilities:scanners with automatic ADF feeders which can even work at a speed of 120 documents per minute. Of course speed and efficiency are not always necessary and, therefore, we have available scanners for office use as well as for industrial use. In some models there is a flat scanning element available. When choosing a scanner, the following points must be considered: daily scanner efficiency and the size of the documents. Almost all scanners have black-white scanning mode (bitonal), in grey shade and in colour, with a standard maximum resolution of 600 dpi.
