I.R.I.S  is a Belgian firm which has been working in the OCR software market since 1987. OCR is a software which reads computer text (scans, digital photography, PDF files). During the 20 years of the firm’s history, big progress has produced a broader range of products which basically convert paper documents into electronic form. Readiris ™  reads texts in polish language, recognizes polish diacritical marks and has a Polish user interface. The Polish language support in this programme is user-friendly and,  priced competitively, makes Readiris ™ an attractive product among the OCR applications which are currently on the market.
